A reader has just informed me that E85 is available in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions of NSW. This is not really surprising since the Manildra ethanol plant is nearby. What is surprising is that E85 is selling for just under $1 per litre.

The Commonwealth Government has released a new fuel consumption and emissions label for all new light vehicles sold in Australia. The two main purposes of the label are to display the amount of greenhouse gas emissions produced by the vehicle and show the amount of fuel consumed in city and highway conditions.

Zero Pollution Motors in the United States are saying they will be taking orders for the MDI Air Car in early 2008 for delivery in 2010.
